Who controls the socials?

Can we get a list of people who post. Facebook still after me saying it hasn't been posted on since 10th November is still not posted on! The posts are already done it's only copy and paste and planning timings.

@SiggeB you post alot. Can you cross post them? Interaction you do with everyone is great and I think that helps alot.

Let's take a look at the current social standings. The work is not being outsourced but by those who think they can maximize the potential on those platforms. As you well know, many operate very differently from others, requiring differing approaches. I agree that the time is now to strike and ensure we are getting eyes on us in every area.

X - Many X accounts are working towards posting about PIVX but there are Leacy runs two PIVX_Community and PIVX_Official, but each one has a differing purpose.
X - PIVX_Turkey @talhatr
TikTok - Draper had started for a bit but then drifted off.
Youtube - @Hawtch
Reddit - No one ATM

Collaboration from community members like you helps us grow and improve. As you know this already mostly consists of volunteers and there may be personal matters or commitments for them to tend to, such as actual employment. It is a good idea to try and get others to stand up and assist with socials when not managed by a proposal-paid team. Who is interested?!

I run the Youtube and post on Rumble as well. I would like to manage the Tik Tok but I would have to be able to more engaged, I imagine. This would be difficult, so I am currently working to get a younger new talent to come along and help run it with our team. Will keep y'all posted on how that goes.

PIVX Labs (X) is myself (JSKitty), I also post news to the forum for major Labs releases and updates.

Should we should start a new account on BitcoinTalk.org? Or is that now properly ignored in the industry because it is so archaic and hopefully now obsolete?

Just a theory - haven't used it in years, but I expect modern 'normies' will not be on BitcoinTalk, which may be good thing for another usecase: team hunting, BitcoinTalk probably has a denser population in technical folks, thus maybe it's a worthy platform to consider reaching out for additional Core developers?

In my opinion, fringe and not-yet-created media should still be consolidated under a list of medias we have. Realistically PIVX is big enough that it needs to be like one of those big orgs that are literally everywhere. Doesn't necessarily need to be popping off, but I think we should have an account everywhere - it goes along with the The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon (Seeing something once and then you see it everywhere).

This is where what @LeacyMcK , @Rigden15937 , @Jeffrey and others are doing is so valuable. Trusted people consistently posting (whether frequent or not). Jeffrey I see you on that Reddit ;)

You can always check it when you curse at Bastyon. I add what I publish to Discord - many people see it there too. But I'm interested in your opinion on how it works - suggestions/observations/improvements, so we're a community here. But I'm disgusted that no one has commented on my proposal in a long time and constantly fighting for a few beers for work is exhausting me. I'm also not doing it full-time. So I'm also thinking about what to do next because I can't finance it myself. I also have a mortgage on my house and that's a top priority. I didn't send the last proposal.

Understandable! We need more awareness of this work so voters can adequately vote for them. As @Gerrald is not in Discord, more updates on forums and potentially Telegram can get the word out more about your work.

Sometimes it is hard as you see the voters are adding more scrutiny to proposals about things due to budget constraints with many listings pushes. Just spitballing!

I gave my thoughts. I didn't vote yes because I felt it waste of funds for that social network. You couldnt even get enough people to enter in your 3 person contest which shows its not used. Your posting so often is another thing which should be encouraged and with the lack of social official channel posts across main social networks, your skills should be more focused on them which is what I suggested.

I agree everything is closed doors and people are not getting feedback. The Discord and telegram has become a lefty central where they won't except/debate or even discuss another view. It's theirs or your gone. Soooo many people booted and banned.

I have been posting to Reddit (thanks @Jeffrey for the mod-power) and in Mastodon every time I can.
